Emphasis on usability

The major emphasis of TeamWork 2010 is improved usability. Over 150 improvements requested by customers have been made. The major enhancements to usability in this release include:

• Independent windows. Each of the Shortcuts, Properties, and Viewer windows may be dragged into position anywhere on the Windows desktop, docked to any side within the main TeamWork window or each other's window, and automatically hidden or pinned open. The windows also now work fully independent of each other. For example, in prior releases a user could not manipulate the viewer window while editing properties in the Properties window. The windows are no longer dependent on one another.
• Application looks. Many different visual styles can now be selected that alter the user interface style to match the most common standards regardless of the version of the computer's operating system.
• Modern icons. The toolbar and menu icons have been replaced with modern artwork to complete the user interface update.
• Configurable toolbar. One toolbar is available that can be configured by a system administrator to show different toolbuttons for each scope.
