The environment uses several tasks executed by the Windows Scheduler. Not all tasks may be applicable for each customer.
Typically, the Windows tasks can be found in the following location:
C:\Windows\Tasks
The tasks that can be scheduled on the Meridian Enterprise server are described in the following table:

Content Indexing |
Creates the full text index for the vault. See the BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise Administrator's Guide for details on how to configure this task. This task is essential when using content indexing. |

Meridian Explorer Synchronization |
Required when publishing to Meridian Explorer. See the BlueCielo Meridian Explorer Administrator's Guide for details on how to schedule this task. |

BlueCielo Mail Archiver |
Required when imported email using the Meridian Email Manager. See the BlueCielo Meridian Email Manager Configuration Guide for more details on how to schedule this task. We recommend that this task be repeated frequently, for example, every ten minutes. |

Prepare for backup |
Required for proper vault maintenance. See the BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise Administrator's Guide for details on how to set up this task. This task should typically run daily. |

Recovery log |
Optional for proper vault maintenance. See the BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise Administrator's Guide for details on how to configure this task. This task should typically run daily |

Publisher |
Required when using the BlueCielo Publisher. See the BlueCielo Publisher Administrator's Guide for details on how to configure this task. We recommend that this task be repeated frequently, for example, every five or ten minutes. |

EDL |
Synchronizes the Meridian Data Library with the Owner Operator vault |

BCHistoryBrowser |
Cleans up deleted documents in the Archive branch of the vault |

BCRententionBrowser |
Automatically deletes documents in the Archive branch when their retention period has elapsed |

AMSync |
Optional for daily synchronization of the Meridian clients' local workspaces. See the BlueCieloMeridian Enterprise Administrator's Guide for details on how to configure this task. |
