View Renditions
- You may only view documents that reside in folders for which you have been granted the View Content privilege.
- To view documents with PowerWeb, you must also have the Copy Outside Vault privilege to download the document a read-only to your local workspace.
- Renditions are shown in the viewer that is assigned to the Acrobat file type as described in Change Viewers unless a system administrator has configured the system to use only a specific viewer.
- To open properly in its default (Windows registered) application, the BCRenditionPropertySet.Format property of the rendition must be set to the file extension of the rendition. Meridian will attempt to open the file in Adobe Reader if the property is empty.
To make the rendition the default file shown when you view a document:
- Set the View renditions option as described in Personal Preferences.
To view

In the view bar, click the View Rendition icon

In the viewer window, click the Show native/rendition button
.
To show the rendition in a full-size window:
- In the Document ribbon, in the Rendition group, click Show Rendition.
To open the rendition in its default application:

In the Edit ribbon, in the Upload/Download group, in the Download Document pull-down, click Open Rendition.
To make the rendition the default file shown when you view a document:
- Set the Show renditions by default option as described in Appearance Options.
To switch the viewer from the source document to the rendition or vice versa:
- In the viewer window, click the Show native/rendition button .
To open the rendition in its default application:
- In any navigation view, select the document that you want to view.
