Run Accruent License Server On a Different Computer
If the Accruent License Server service is running on a different computer than the AutoManager EDM Server service, the AutoManager EDM Server will be denied access to the license server.
To enable access in that configuration:
- Create a new account or choose an existing account as described in Grant Domain Privileges With a Service Account and assign it to the AutoManager EDM Server service.
- On the computer running the Accruent License Server service, verify that this account is a member of the Distributed COM Users group or a member group.
Note:
If a local account is used to run the AutoManager EDM Server service, a local account with the same user name and password must also be added to the computer running the Accruent License Server service. If a domain account is used, this step is not necessary.
