BlueCielo TeamWork 2012 Release Notes | BlueCielo ECM Solutions |
The Cyco AutoManager Meridian Power User and Office Client can now be implemented more easily in existing Citrix environments. It is possible to configure AM-Meridian to use a central server based file share as root directory for Local Workspace in case of multiple Citrix servers. To achieve this a new registry settings is introduced. By default this registry settings does not exist, and the existing behavior is retained.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cyco\AutoManager Meridian\CurrentVersion\Client\
If set the WorkSpaceLockID is used in stead of the machine name to lock a document. Next to this WorkSpaceLockID or machine name the username is always used. In a Citrix environment, the value for WorkSpaceLockID should be the same on all machines. This setting should be combined with the - already existing - WorkSpaceLocation setting.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cyco\AutoManager Meridian\CurrentVersion\Client\
REG_SZ WorkSpaceLocation
The WorkSpaceLocation specifies the rootdirectory of the Local Workspace. In a Citrix environment, this value should point to a central fileshare or drive (NAS) and be the same on all Citrix client machines. This registry setting already existed before AM2006b.
Note: For other Citrix configurations, and to setup Citrix with Cyco AutoManager Meridian and local CAD applications, please contact Cyco Software.
