New in AM2005a: Global Search

The search functionality of AM-Meridian has been extended with the Global Search functionality, which enables the user to search across multiple Vaults and Work Areas. A number of other improvements in the Find dialogs enable to balance ease of use for the casual users with powerful functionality for the experienced user.

Quick Find

Improvements in the Quick Find are a 'Context selection', where you can select multiple vaults to search in, a new Result dialog with 'Details' and 'Selectable columns', a new operator 'Contains multiple', offering a simple way to search on multiple words, and a 'Default Vault List'.

Advanced Find

Improvements in the Advanced Find dialog are the advanced tabs: 'Search Scope' where you can select the Vaults and Work Areas to search in, 'Save settings' where you can save your search queries, a configurable list of properties (not all properties need to be visible) and an AND/OR search on the Criteria tab.
