• The name of the "Web Publish License" has been changed to "Enterprise Web Reader License". The functionality remains unchanged. • The process of changing security on very large vaults has been optimized. The process now completes much faster and uses less server resources.000540 Optimize Role Assignments for large vaults
   
• The performance optimization introduced in AutoManager 2004c for using only local groups for role assignments (described here: EDM Server) can now be easily enabled when the Administrator is first started after installation. It is strongly recommended to use only local groups for role assignments. The chosen setting can later be changed in the Engine page of the EDM Server properties.18430 BrowseForGlobalGroups option should be default off
   
• When the EDM Server and the SQL Server are installed on separate machines, the path to the SQL Server data files was also used to store EDM Server local files (.lck, .log, .che, .csv). That required that on the EDM Server machine the same drive letters were available as on the SQL Server machine. This is now changed by introducing a separate registry setting to define the location of the local EDM Server files:
  HKLM\SOFTWARE\Cyco\<ActiveProduct>\CurrentVersion\Installed DataStores\<Vault Name>\CompoundItemService

  Note that this path will also be used to store Datastore.ini created by a "Prepare for Backup".
