New in AM2004: 'Has Redlines' property

AutoManager 2004 introduces a 'Has Redlines' property for documents.

The Property

The new property is stored in the built-in property set AMDocumentPropertySet.

The display name is: Has Redlines

The internal name is: _HAS_REDLINES

The Server will set the value for this property to True when redlines are stored for a document.

The Server will clear the value for this property when redlines are removed.

Upgrading from AutoManager 2003

The 'Has Redlines' property is not calculated during the upgrade to AutoManager 2004. Documents that contained redline information prior to the upgrade will not immediately have this new property set to True.

The 'Has Redlines' property will be refreshed:

• When a document's default property page is shown.
• When editing redlines.
• When invoking the 'HasRedlineData()' method from Visual Basic.

Find

The 'Has Redlines' property can be used as an argument in a Find operation.

Scripting

Redline functionality has been added to the VB Scripting Object model.
