New in AM2004: Using Custom Functions in scripting expressions

Scripting expressions used in the vault Configuration can now use custom scripting functions defined in the 'Event Script Editor'. This allows the use of more complex expressions and the reuse of code by sharing functions between different expressions and events.

When writing an expression in the 'AutoManager Script Editor', you can select a Custom Function from the Object Browser.

Custom Functions can be used with the following expressions:

• Document Naming expressions
• Property validation expressions
• Property assignment expressions
• Visibility expressions

These expression do not support the use of Custom Functions:

• Reporting expressions
• Database Import expressions
• Set Property Value expressions
