The Vault Consistency Wizard has been improved
to repair more inconsistencies.
Work Area Templates that are no longer in use
can now be deleted. For Vaults created with AutoManager versions before
2003 an additional utility is needed to allow these Work Area Templates
to be removed. For information about this utility contact your reseller.
Properties with a dot in the value were not accepted
as folder name in the Field Path Relation, resulting in a "Cannot
set attribute" error when modifying properties. This is now improved.
On vaults with large AutoCAD, Inventor or SolidWorks
assemblies, the Vault Consistency Wizard could stop in the middle of the
repair process with an error "Database Engine not available".
This is now fixed.
When creating new documents using a Field Path
Relation, strangely named directories may be appearing at other places
in the directory tree. This is now fixed.
When using AutoManager in an Active Directory
environment where directory queries take a very long time - either because
of the infrastructure or the size of the domain - clients may experience
'lock ups' of several seconds when cached information on the EDM server
is refreshed. This is now improved.
When properties were unmapped from the Field Path
Relation it may have become impossible to edit a document's properties
under certain conditions. This is now fixed.
When using Inventor Pack and Go on a large assembly
the EDM Server could run out of memory. This is now fixed. If you use
Inventor Pack and Go on large assemblies, add the following DWORD registry
value under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cyco\AutoManager
Meridian 2003\CurrentVersion\OML on the EDM Server machine (other
values may provide other results, 200 (C8 Hex) is
recommended):
"ObjectsCacheDepth"=dword:000000c8
