Communication between Oracle and the EDM server
has been improved when errors occur. Under certain conditions errors from
Oracle would not be passed to the EDM Server, causing the write-ahead
log files of the database driver to grow, and eventually making the vault
unusable.
Removing history from a large vault could cause
the EDM Server to consume all available process memory on the server and
eventually crash with an "Out of memory" error.
Starting with version 2003a the Vault Consistency
Wizard is also supported by the Oracle database driver.
Several small memory leaks have been identified
and fixed.
Messages from the Oracle database driver in the
Windows Event log incorrectly mentioned "HyperTrieve" as source.
This is now corrected to mention "HyperCache".
