Windows XP Service Pack 2

When running an InnoCielo EDM Server on a computer with Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), there are some known issues.

Notes

1. Windows XP Professional is not supported as server operating system in a production environment, but for demonstration and evaluation only.
2. For an InnoCielo Client installation (PowerUser, Office Client, Offline Client) these issues do not apply.

Running the License Server on another computer

When the InnoCielo License Server is running on another computer than the EDM Server, and the computer with the License Server has Service Pack 2 installed, any client connecting to vaults on that EDM Server will report "No license available". This is because of the improved security in SP2 on DCOM applications. To resolve this issue, run the EDM Server service under an account that has access to the computer running the License Server.
