Launching Inventor 10 and 11

If Inventor 10 or 11 has not been launched since starting the computer, double clicking an Inventor drawing (IDW) in the PowerUser is very likely to result in the Windows error message "Cannot find the file '<filename>' (or one of its components)." There are two known solutions to this problem:

1. Launch Inventor 10 manually before double clicking an Inventor document in the PowerUser.
2. Use a project file in the root of your Local Workspace with the workspace set to "." (period). See the article Correct Configuration of Autodesk Inventor and AutoManager Meridian and TeamWork (Default Project file) in the knowledge base for details on how to set up the project file.
