The Asset Management Module integrates with Maximo 7 using Maximo's Launch in Context feature. A Launch in Context entry passes information about the selected asset to a new Internet Explorer session that connects to Meridian Explorer, which retrieves the related vault documents. You define a menu item or button in Maximo to invoke the Launch in Context entry.
Integrating the Asset Management Module with Maximo 7 includes the tasks that are listed in the following table.
