Vector file options

The following tables list the viewing and printing options of the BlueCielo viewer for each of the document types that it supports.

Common options
Option Description

Background color

The viewer pane background color. Does not affect the printing background, which is determined by the file itself.

Warning for unsupported entities

Displays a warning if the viewer encounters entities in the document not supported by the viewer.

AutoCAD view options
Option Description

Accurate

Displays the document with all accuracy options enabled.

Speed

Displays the document with all accuracy options disabled.

Custom

Click the Set button to choose display accuracy options.

Use RealDWG

Enables use of Autodesk RealDWG technology.

Extents

Sets the default view to the drawing’s extents.

Limits

Sets the default view to the drawing’s limits.

Last AutoCAD display

Sets the default view to the drawing’s last saved display.

Use different pen widths for viewing

Click the Set button to set display line widths for each AutoCAD color number.

Font file name

Click Browse to choose the font to display if a font used in the drawing cannot be found.

Big font file name

Click Browse to choose the Big Font to display if a Big Font used in the drawing cannot be found.

Fonts

Click Set Path to add or remove paths for the viewer to search for fonts used in the drawing.

Warning if not found

Display a warning dialog if a font used in the drawing cannot be found in the paths set for the Fonts option.

Xrefs

Click Set Path to add or remove paths to search for X-Refs used in drawing.

Warning for unresolved Xrefs

Displays a warning dialog if a font used in the drawing cannot be found in the paths set for the Fonts option.

Warning if proxy graphics not present

Displays a warning dialog if proxy graphics for representing third-party application entities are not present.

AutoCAD print options
Option Description

Accurate

Prints the document with all accuracy options enabled.

Speed

Prints the document with all accuracy options disabled.

Custom

Click the Set button to choose printing accuracy options.

Extents

Sets the default print area to the drawing’s extents.

Limits

Sets the default print area to the drawing’s limits.

Last AutoCAD display

Sets the default print area to the drawing’s last saved display.

Fit to paper

Scales the drawing to print within the printer page size.

Scale to paper drawing units

The number of drawing units to print within the number of units of measure entered in the option below.

Scale to paper units of measure

The number of units of measure within which to print the number of drawing units entered in the option above.

Use different pen widths for printing

Click the Set button to set printer line widths for each AutoCAD color number.

CADKEY view options
Option Description

Accuracy

Displays the document with all accuracy options enabled.

Speed

Displays the document will all accuracy options disabled.

Displays the drawing to fit within the viewer window as the initial view.

Warning if file not found

Displays a warning dialog if reference files used in the drawing cannot be found.

CADKEY print options
Option Description

Accuracy

Prints the document with all accuracy options enabled.

Speed

Prints the document will all accuracy options disabled.

Custom

Click the Set button to choose printing accuracy options.

Fit in window

Prints the drawing as fit within the viewer window.

Fit to paper

Scales the drawing to print within the printer page size.

Scale to paper drawing units

The number of drawing units to print within the number of units of measure entered in the option below.

The number of units of measure within which to print the number of drawing units entered in the option above.

Generic CADD view options
Option Description

Accuracy

Displays the drawing optimized for accuracy.

Speed

Displays the document optimized for speed.

Print Option

Description

Scales the drawing to print within the printer page size.

Scale to paper drawing units

The number of drawing units to print within the number of units of measure entered in the option below.

Scale to paper units of measure

The number of units of measure within which to print the number of drawing units entered in the option above.

Prints the drawing optimized for accuracy.

Prints the drawing optimized for speed.

Generic CADD print options
Option Description

Fit to paper

Scales the drawing to print within the printer page size.

Scale to paper drawing units

The number of drawing units to print within the number of units of measure entered in the option below.

Scale to paper units of measure

The number of units of measure within which to print the number of drawing units entered in the option above.

Accuracy

Prints the drawing optimized for accuracy.

Speed

Prints the drawing optimized for speed.

AutoCAD Slide print options
Option Description

Select slide

Select a slide name to print.

Current slide

Print the current slide.

Number of slides to print

Enter the number of slides within a slide library file (.slb) to print.

WPG Graphics options
Option Description

Accuracy

Displays the document optimized for accuracy.

Speed

Displays the document optimized for speed.

Paint background

Displays a colored background.

Print Option

Description

Fit to paper

Scales the drawing to print within the printer page size.

Paper width

Scales the drawing to print within the width entered.

Paper height

Scales the drawing to print within the height entered.

Accuracy

Prints the drawing optimized for accuracy.

Speed

Prints the drawing optimized for speed.

Paint background

Prints the drawing with a painted background.

Drawing Web Format (DWF) options
Option Description

Fit to paper

Scales the drawing to print within the printer page size.

Scale to paper drawing units

The number of drawing units to print within the number of units of measure entered in the option below.

Scale to paper units of measure

The number of units of measure within which to print the number of drawing units entered in the option above.

HPGL Plot File options
Option Description

Emulate plotter

Select a plotter model and sheet size for the viewer to emulate.

User’s range

Enter the coordinates of an area within the plot file to display.

Fit drawing to window

Scales the drawing to fit within the viewer window as the initial view.

Rotate angle

Select an angle to rotate the initial view.

Mirror horizontally

Displays the plot file rotated along its horizontal axis.

Mirror vertically

Displays the plot file rotated along its vertical axis.

Use ‘Rotate’ Instruction

Uses the HPGL RO instruction that may be contained in the file to print in Portrait orientation.

Use hardware clip instruction

Uses the HPGL IW instruction that may be contained in the file to limit printing to the emulated plotter’s maximum printing area.

Fixed pen width

Prints polylines using the current pen width scaled to the current view instead of the polyline width.
