Using the viewing tools

The viewer toolbar provides a collection of tools for exploring a document interactively. Depending on the type of document, various buttons are displayed in the toolbar. For example, if you are viewing a vector document, the toolbar will contain Zoom and Pan buttons. If you are displaying a raster document, the toolbar will contain the Rotate 90 Degrees button.

The tools available for a particular document are also dependent on the viewer associated with the current file’s format. Each file format can be associated with a different viewer and multiple viewers, including third-party viewers, can be configured to display within the viewer window. Each viewer provides its own tools for the file formats that it supports. The viewer toolbars shown below are those provided by the BlueCielo viewer (BCViewPlugIn) developed by BlueCielo ECM Solutions. BlueCielo products also include the AutoVue 2D Professional viewer developed by Oracle, Inc. In addition to the buttons in the toolbar, all tools are also available for selection from the shortcut menu displayed by right-clicking in the viewer window.

Tip    Hover the mouse pointer over the different buttons in the following figures to see the name of each tool. Click a button to display the help topic for that tool.
