Using the Layers tool

The Layers tool displays a dialog that lists the layers that are present in the current drawing. Selecting a layer displays its color and linetype details. You can toggle the display of selected layers by following these steps:

1. Choose a layer from the Layers list.
2. If the layer is currently visible, click Hide; the button changes to Display. If the layer is currently hidden, click Display; the button changes to Hide. You can also toggle layer visibility by double-clicking the layer name.
3. Click OK to apply your changes.

Use Display All and Hide All to change the visibility of all layers at one time. The Original button resets layer visibility to the setting that was saved in the drawing.
