Using the Draft Print tool

Click the Draft Print tool to produce a hard copy of the current file on the Windows printer that you select. You can configure the appearance of the hard copy by setting various viewer options described in Setting viewer options.

Note    This command must be enabled by a system administrator for it to appear in Meridian Explorer.

Choose options in the Print Document dialog to produce the desired hard copy. The Printer option group displays information about the Windows default printer and a list of installed printers from which to select a different printer. Click the Properties button to modify options for the selected printer. The options available are dependent on the selected printer.

The Advanced option group displays options provided by the BlueCielo viewer for printing:

• Select the Print Redlines check box to print BlueCielo redlines overlaid on the file. This option is only available for the formats for which the BlueCielo viewer supports redlining.
• Select the Print All in Black check box to print all colors in the file as black on the printed page. Choose this option if the selected printer does not support color printing or dithering of colors to shades of gray, or if the file contains many light-colored areas that would be difficult to read if printed as shades of gray.
• Click the Options button to display the print options for the selected file type. See Setting viewer options for more information on printing options for particular file types.

When you are finished setting options, click OK. The document is sent to the printer.

Note    If watermarking is configured by a system administrator, it will also appear in the output.
