Appendix G: Web Access configuration parameters

The following table contains all of the parameters that can be specified in the settings.asp file of Meridian Enterprise Web Access.

RepositoryName

Name of the default vault for a specific Web Access server.

MatchAllTags

Specifies whether the arguments in the URL must be combined into an OR query (False) or an AND query (True). When True, linked documents are found that match all tag attributes in the URL. This option may not find documents referenced by proxy objects.

AllowSendRemarks

Specifies whether maintenance management system users can add remarks to documents.

HidePrintList

Hides the Print List and Add to Print List icons in the maintenance management system.

HideWebAccess

Hides the Open Document in Meridian Web Access icon in the maintenance management system.

HideUploadVersion

Hides the Attach a new version in BC-Meridian icon in the maintenance management system.

False

HideUploadDocument

Hides the Attach a new document in BC-Meridian icon in the maintenance management system.

False

NotUseNetViewer

Disables the Meridian Enterprise Office Web Client (formerly called NetViewer). Instead, Adobe Reader will be used (if available). This means that only PDF documents can be viewed.

HideDownload

Hides the Download document icon in the maintenance management system.

CaptionPath

Path to the localization file described in Localizing the user interface.

 

StartSessionWithListView

The first time that the Linked Documents page is shown, it is opened in list view.

ShowObjectTab

Shows an additional Objects page in the maintenance management system that lists the proxy objects in Meridian Enterprise that are linked to the selected document by reference linking.
