Registering the PowerUser extensions

There are Meridian Enterprise PowerUser extensions that are installed with Meridian Enterprise that must be registered for use with the Meridian Asset Management Module:

• BlueCieloECM.AssetManagement.UI.Settings.dll – Used to configure the Asset Management Module. This is the only extension that is necessary to allow the maintenance management system side of the Asset Management Module to function.
• BlueCieloECM.AssetManagement.UI.Tags.dll – Used to link the selected document to one or more objects in the Meridian Enterprise vault. After registration, apply it to each document type that will be linked to proxy objects. If you are not sure, select all document types except the one that is used for the proxy objects.
• BlueCieloECM.AssetManagement.UI.WhereUsed.dll – Used to link the selected object to one or more documents in the Meridian Enterprise vault. After registration, apply it to the document type that is used for proxy objects.
• BlueCieloECM.AssetManagement.UI.Tags4Tag.dll – Used to link the selected object to one or more other objects in the Meridian Enterprise vault. Upon registration, it applies itself to the Object document type. This extension is optional and only necessary if you need to be able to manually link objects to on another.

The extensions can be found in the Meridian Enterprise program folder, for example, C:\Program Files\BC-Meridian\Program.

To register the extensions:

1. Register the extensions in each file as described in the BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise Configuration Guide. Apply the extensions to the document types indicated in the preceding list.
