Adding a pushbutton gives Maximo users access to the signature option that you have created. You can also gives users access with a menu option as described in Adding a menu option.

To add a pushbutton:

1. In Maximo , click Go To, click System Configuration, click Platform Configuration, and select Application Designer. The list of existing applications appears.
2. Select the application record to which you want to add a pushbutton. The application's Workspace page appears.
3. On the toolbar, click Control Palette. The Control Palette appears.
4. Drag the ButtonGroup control to the location in the application workspace where you want the pushbutton to appear, for example, in the Attached documents header at the bottom of the workspace. A new pushbutton appears.
5. Right-click the pushbutton. The Pushbutton Properties window appears.
6. Click options or type values using the descriptions in the following table.

7. From the Select Action menu, select Save Application Definition.
8. Close the Pushbutton Properties window.
9. Right-click Button group... and select Properties. Change the Label property to an appropriate name, for example, Linked Documents.
10. Repeat steps 2 to 7 for each signature option that you created as described in Creating a signature option.
11. Log off of Maximo and restart the Maximo server.
