Specifying the BlueCielo Web Service server

Only when the ImandrA Web Service is installed does the setup program install an application definition file that contains metadata required for the BDC. Once you have installed the ImandrA Web Service, you must edit this file to specify the name of the web server where the ImandrA Web Service is installed.

Note    The Meridian Web Service automatically generates this file and this procedure is not necessary.

To specify the name of the BlueCielo Web Service server:

  1. Locate and open the ApplicationDefinition.xml file in any text editor. The file resides in the BDC subfolder where the ImandrA Web Service is installed.
  2. Locate the WsdlFetchUrl property in the file.
  3. Specify the name of the server where the ImandrA Web Service is installed (for example, http://<WebServerName>/BDC/ItemSearch.asmx).
  4. Locate the GetItem action in the file.
  5. Again specify the name of a server where the ImandrA Web Service is installed (for example, http://<WebServerName>/GetDocumentBody.aspx/{0}/{1}/{2}).
  6. Save your changes and close the file.
