Installing the BlueCielo Web Parts

The BlueCielo Web Parts are installed on the SharePoint server that will connect to the BlueCielo web service running on the Internet Information Services server.

Note    The Meridian Enterprise Web Part and the ImandrA Web Part are not compatible when both are installed on the same web server. Install only one or the other.

Before you begin

Read and satisfy the requirements described in Understanding the system requirements and About the security requirements.

To install one of the BlueCielo Web Parts:

  1. In the appropriate distribution package folder, run the web part setup program that corresponds to your system type. The BlueCielo Web Parts welcome page appears.
  2. Click Next. The System Check page appears while the system requirements are evaluated.
  3. When all requirements have been met, click Next. The End-User License Agreement page appears.
  4. Read and accept the license agreement and then click Next. The Deployment Targets page appears.
  5. Select the web application to which you want to install one of the Web Parts and then click Next. The Installing page displays the installation progress.
  6. When the installation has completed, click Next. The Installation Successfully Completed page appears listing the applications to which the web part was deployed.
  7. Click Close.
  8. Verify that the web part is installed correctly as described in Confirming correct web part installation.
