Installing search integration

SharePoint Server enterprise search integration is installed by the BlueCielo web service installation package described in Installing a BlueCielo web service.

The Business Data Catalog used by SharePoint Server is included with the Enterprise Edition of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 or higher.

Note    The BlueCielo Federated Connector requires installation of the Infrastructure Update for Microsoft Office Servers 2007 dated July 15, 2008. For Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 SP1 (or higher) it is not necessary to install the update.
