Appendix B: Transmittal database schema

The Transmittal database schema is shown in the following diagram.

Note    If a Meridian Enterprise internal property name is used as the name for a new transmittal database column name, the transmittal database property value is set to the vault value automatically whenever the transmittal database is updated by the Meridian Transmittal Management Module.

Note    Document IDs (transmittal, submittal, and design documents) are stored in the transmittal database in binary format and must be translated into strings for use with VBScript. For assistance, contact your Certified Partner or BlueCielo ECM Solutions Technical Support.

Tip    To connect to the transmittal database with the Vault.ExecSQL method in VBScript, specify the system variable $$TransManDB (case-sensitive) for the Connection parameter.
