Tracking the status of transmittals

The most convenient method of tracking transmittals is with navigation views. Such views can show all open transmittals and any information that has been typed about them. For information about the navigation views that may be created for your vaults, see a system administrator.

Transmittal information is also stored in the transmittal database as described in Updating the transmittal database. This information can be viewed and printed in reports using applications or custom solutions that are not included with Meridian Enterprise or the Meridian Transmittal Management Module.

The transmission information stored for each document includes the properties listed in Viewing and editing transmission properties.
