New in IC2008a SP1: Limited AutoCAD 2010 compatibility

The InnoCielo viewer does not support the AutoCAD 2010 DWG format in this release. The DWG file format was changed for AutoCAD 2010 but was not yet supported by the version of RealDWG that was available when this release was developed. AutoCAD 2010 DWG format support is expected to be included in InnoCielo 2009. Until then, the InnoCielo viewer supports the DWG 2009 format, which is the default for files saved with AutoCAD 2010, and older DWG file formats.

Other AutoCAD 2010 DWG format functionality not supported in this release includes:

• On computers without AutoCAD 2010 installed:
  • Synchronize title block properties to or from file
  • Synchronize references from file
  • Resolve references on import.

Note    On computers with AutoCAD 2010 installed, the InnoCielo AutoCAD Link does support these features for 2010 DWG files (by using native AutoCAD components instead of RealDWG), but we strongly recommend saving all files in 2009 DWG format for compatibility among all users until RealDWG 2010 support is provided in InnoCielo.

• Opening or saving files to an InnoCielo vault with AMFS enabled can generate the error "Drawing file is write protected" if AutoCAD 2010, the InnoCielo client, EDM Server service, and AMFS service are all on the same computer. The error does not occur when Local Workspace is enabled.
