NetViewer version
Web users that select to use the 'Advanced NetViewer
functionality', need to have a compatible version of the AM-NetViewer
installed. After upgrading the WebAccess server, the users may need to
update their AM-NetViewer
installation.
The AM2004b WebAccess will show a clear error description when the user
attempts to download a document with an incompatible version of the AM-NetViewer.
'Invalid Pointer' error
The 'Find in Main Area' command in the WebAccess could fail with an 'Invalid Pointer' error. This problem has been repaired in AM2004b. A solution is also available for other releases (please contact Cyco Support).
Authentication error after installing Microsoft Internet Explorer hotfix Q832894
The "Authentication failed" message is shown in the "AutoManager Upload/Download component" after installing the Microsoft Internet Explorer hotfix Q832894 for IE6.
Cyco has produced a hotfix for this issue for both Meridian 2004A and Meridian 2003D. These are available in the Knowledge base. AM2004b is not affected by this problem.
Redlining
Bug 17964: "Redline issues with the Web Access since 2003d", RefNum VM040323111826
Under some conditions, the WebAccess would not display redlines correctly. This has been resolved.
Integrated Windows Authentication
Bug 17777: "Document content not uploaded after change", RefNum IP040225170542
When using Integrated Windows Authentication (as opposed to 'basic authentication') to secure the AutoManager WebAccess, it was possible that document content would not be uploaded as required. This has been resolved.
