The following improvements have been made to the TeamWork client applications:
TeamWork 2009 adds supports for the latest versions of popular CAD applications. See the Supported Applications list for your version available from your BlueCielo ECM Solutions Solution Partner or the BlueCielo ECM Solutions extranet.
TeamWork reference management has been added to Web Access. For more information, see the TeamWork User's Guide.
A new Thumbnails property page has been added for folders that displays thumbnail images of the documents that reside in the selected folders. Folder icons appear for subfolders that reside in the selected folder. Double-clicking opens the selected item.
Search results of the Find dialog may now be saved to a personal My Search Results static collection. The documents may then be manipulated in the Navigation view instead of in the Find dialog. The collection is overwritten when a new search is saved to the collection.
Within Application Integration, the most recent Quick Find property and condition are preserved as the defaults for subsequent searches.
The columns that are displayed in the Show Revisions dialog are now configurable by a system administrator and column locations are user-configurable using drag and drop. Column locations are not retained between sessions.
The TeamWork viewer now displays Draft Print and Print Preview buttons in its toolbar, which are disabled if the current user does not have the Draft Print privilege.
Hybrid part documents may now be attached to a document that is locked.
The Task Server client library is now installed automatically by the TeamWork client setup programs and does not need to be installed manually as before.
The Delete Document privilege is no longer required to move a document between folders controlled by the Field-Path definition. Instead, the Move Document Away from Folder privilege is required.
The default search operator for the Find dialog in the PowerUser and TeamWork clients is now Contains and can be configured with the following new DWORD registry key:
Equals = 1 Less than = 2 More than = 3 Less or equal to = 4 More or equal to = 5 Not equal to = 6 Is empty = 9 Is not empty = 10 Contains = 11 Does not contain = 12 Starts with = 13 Does not start with = 14 As DOS wildcard = 15
If the value is missing or invalid, the default condition Contains (11) is used.
Manually initiated revisions of a document in an active workflow definition were not logged to the Comment property. This has been fixed.
When importing from a briefcase, the Update option is now available for unlocked Released or Unchanged status documents to make it convenient to update one Global Collaboration Framework site with changes from another. The update will be processed as a Quick Change.
A new security privilege Use Document Import Tool has been added to secure the tool from unauthorized users.
Due to the increased security of the registry in Windows Vista, the following registry keys were moved from the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE branch of the registry to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER branch of the registry:
