Uninstalling TeamWork
Removing TeamWork from either a server or client computer is an easy process performed by following these steps:
- In Windows Control Panel, double-click Add or Remove Programs. A list of the installed programs appears.
- Select the TeamWork product to be removed and click Uninstall/Change. The Setup wizard for the selected product appears.
- Select Remove and click Next. The program will prompt for confirmation before starting the uninstall process.
- Click OK to continue. If the program finds that TeamWork server components are installed on the computer, it will prompt for confirmation to remove all vault-related registry data.
Warning This data is necessary to make vault data accessible by TeamWork.
Note Registry information for reserved licenses and Web Access Find form customization are also not removed in case TeamWork is reinstalled on the same computer. This information is retained only if TeamWork 2010 or higher was newly installed on the computer. If TeamWork was upgraded from an earlier release, this information will be removed if the product is uninstalled.
- Click No if TeamWork will be reinstalled on the computer. Only click Yes if the vault data will not be used again on the same computer. A progress dialog will display the progress of uninstalling TeamWork.
- The program may prompt for confirmation before removing shared DLLs that can safely be removed. This prompt will only appear for those DLLs that are not in use by any other application. In most situations, click Yes. Enable the Don’t display this message again option to prevent the prompt from appearing before deleting other shared DLLs.
- After the process has completed, the program might prompt to restart the computer so that files that are in use can be deleted. Select Yes, I want to restart my computer now and click Finish.
The computer restarts and TeamWork has been completely removed from the computer.
