Publishing intermediate versions

By default, Meridian REFSYS generates a rendition of a document when a new revision is released from a workflow. But there might be circumstances when you need to generate a rendition before the document has been released, such as for reference by another department or a business partner.

Note    This feature is available for documents in the Plant Drawing and Plant Document document types. For more information about the document types available in the vault, see a System Administrator.

To publish an intermediate version:

1. In PowerUser, select the document that you want to publish. The document's property pages appear.
2. Right-click the document in the navigation view and select Intermediate Publish. The document is added to the BlueCielo Publisher queue for rendering.

The rendition may be viewed in Meridian Enterprise after it has been published. For information on viewing the Publisher queue to monitor the status of the rendition, see the BlueCielo Publisher User's Guide.
