Delivery modes

The Owner Operator environment is available as a VMWare virtual machine and as a Meridian Enterprise vault backup named vltOwnerOperator. The virtual machine includes all functionality. The vault backup is limited to functionality that is included in Meridian Enterprise configuration (.MET) files and additional configuration may be required to configure additional modules and application links.

The vault backup is available to BlueCielo personnel only and can be downloaded from the BlueCielo FTP site. The FTP site is typically updated with minor software updates.

A complete virtual machine is sent to the BlueCielo headquarters office for every major software update. The size of the virtual machine is currently less than 30GB and requires 4GB of internal memory from the host computer.
