BlueCielo Meridian REFSYS 2012 Configuration Guide | BlueCielo ECM Solutions |
The Owner Operator environment has many configuration options. In the following topics, you will learn how to make modifications to the Owner Operator environment without having to do any VBScript or other program code changes. Many additional configuration changes can be implemented using VBScript as described in the BlueCielo Meridian Meridian Developer's Guide .
All settings for the environment are stored in a table named _Settings in the Meridian Enterprise Configurator. They can be modified in the Configurator or in MS Access. The settings influence how the Owner Operator environment works without having to make VBScript modifications. Currently over 100 settings are provided. Each setting includes a description of that setting, which makes the settings self-documented.
A shortcut named VOOM settings is provided in the vault Tools menu to directly open the MS Access database. All settings are categorized for convenience.
A form named Settings is provided in MS Access to modify all settings.
All messages for the environment are stored in a table named _Messages in Meridian Enterprise Configurator. They can be modified in the Configurator or in MS Access. All messages are categorized for convenience.
The messages are multi-line text fields that are used by the environment wherever text is shown to the user. Each message can contain VBScript using the syntax shown in the following figure. In some messages, special variables are inserted to represent important information related to the message.
For more information about modifying these tables and making the other changes mentioned in this guide, see the BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise Configuration Guide.
