Restarting a document

A document with a Status of Failed or Canceled can be restarted. Restarting a document activates it for publishing once again.

To restart a document:

1. Open the Publisher queue as described in Viewing the Publisher queue.
2. In the Action column of the document that you want to restart, point to the icon until the down arrow appears, click the down arrow, and select Restart Item.The document's Status changes to Pending.

To restart multiple documents in one action:

1. Open the Publisher queue as described in Viewing the Publisher queue.
2. In the left column, select the documents that you want to restart.

OR

2. Select the checkbox in the toolbar to select all documents in the queue.
3. From the action list in the toolbar, select Restart Items.
4. Click Run. The Status of the selected documents changes to Pending.
