Understanding the Legacy system link

The Legacy system link is provided for backward compatibility with custom publishing modules that were developed for Publisher 2009a or prior. The system link acts as a wrapper around the legacy module to expose the module's options for configuration with the BlueCielo Application Manager and to pass through function calls to the legacy Publish API.

The system link supports legacy modules as destination systems only, not as source systems. Because legacy modules are 32-bit only, the dependent Publisher components that are used with it must also be 32-bit (BlueCielo Application Manager, Dex.exe, and so on).
