Exporting publishing jobs
Exporting publishing jobs saves their configuration information to an XML file that can be imported into the same system or a different system. You specify the location of the file when you export the publishing jobs.
Exporting publishing jobs is useful for several reasons:
- As a record of the job configurations at a point in time, such as before making major changes.
- As a backup of the jobs in case of disaster.
- To copy one job configuration to another as a template or to another Publisher computer for import.
To export Publisher jobs:
- In the BlueCielo Application Manager configuration tree, select BlueCielo Publisher 2012. The existing publishing jobs appear in the right pane.
- Click the
toolbutton of the right pane. The Save As dialog appears.
- Select the destination folder, modify the file name, if necessary, and click Save. The export file is created in the specified location.
