Understanding the eSignature post rendering module

The eSignature post rendering module uses the Oracle AutoVue 2D Professional viewer to render electronic signature and watermark information on document renditions. The information can be added before or after renditions created by any rendering module as described in NEW About rendition post processing.

Watermarks can be of several types:

• ESignature: Applied over the body of a rendition or on a signature page.
• Overlay: Applied over the body of the rendition.
• Print stamp: Applied in a margin of the rendition. The text of this type can be calculated by a user-specified JavaScript for Acrobat file.
• Prior revision: Applied over the body of the previous revision of a rendition when a new revision is generated.

The eSignature post rendering module requires the following software components that are installed by the Publisher setup program:

• Oracle AutoVue 2D Professional
• Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)
