Canceling a document

Canceling a document in the Publisher queue prevents it from being published to the destination system. The document's registration remains in the Publisher database for auditing and other purposes. A canceled document may be restarted for publishing at a later time unless it is marked as obsolete.

To cancel a document:

1. Open the Publisher queue as described in Viewing the Publisher queue.
2. In the Action column of the document that you want to cancel, point to the icon until the down arrow appears, click the down arrow, and select Cancel Item. The Status of the document changes to Canceled.

To cancel multiple documents in one action:

1. Open the Publisher queue as described in Viewing the Publisher queue.
2. In the left column, select the documents that you want to cancel.

2. Select the checkbox in the toolbar to select all documents in the queue.
3. From the action list in the toolbar, select Cancel Items.
4. Click Run. The Status of the selected documents changes to Canceled.
