About the standard modules

Rendering modules are used by Dex.exe to convert documents from one file format to another file format. Multiple rendering modules can be specified for each publishing job. Only one rendering module should be configured for each file type.

System links are used to copy rendered or native documents from the source to the destination system. Only one destination system can be configured for each publishing job. The links and rendering modules that are standard with the Publisher are described in detail in the following topics.
