Deleting folders
Deleting a folder permanently removes it from the system. All subfolders and documents in the folder are also deleted unless they are linked outside of the folder.
Before you begin
To perform this task, you must be the owner of the folder or a member of an access group that has been assigned an access profile with the Delete permission for folder properties.
To delete a folder:
- Open the property page of the source folder as described in Viewing and editing folder properties.
- In the ribbon, in the Folder group, click Delete. The icon is only visible if you have sufficient rights to delete the folder. A confirmation page appears.
- Click Yes, delete.
