Deleting files and URLs
Deleting files and URLs from a document removes the attachments and links but does not remove the document itself.
Before you begin
To perform this task, you must be the owner of the document or a member of an access group that has been assigned an access profile with the Delete permission for files.
To delete files or URLs from a document:
- In the navigation pane, select the parent folder of the document for which you want to delete files or URLs.
- In the Documents view, select the document for which you want to delete files or URLs.
- In the ribbon, in the Files group, click Remove. A page appears that lists the files and URLs that are attached to the document.
- In the Files list, select the files and URLs that you want to delete and click Delete files/URLs. A confirmation page appears that lists your selections.
- Click Yes, delete files/URLs. The parent document's property page reappears with the selected files and URLs deleted.
