Creating a submittal

In Project Portal, a submittal is a returned package of documents and metadata in response to a transmittal. The submittal can be a complete response or a partial response. A transmittal may have multiple submittals associated with it until the transmittal recipient indicates that they have finished responding to the transmittal. As the creator of a submittal, you cannot delete it.

To create a submittal:

  1. Create a ZIP format archive file that contains an updated metadata file. The package should include a folder named Documents where the documents are located.

Click the Go to transmittal link in the email message that you received.

    OR

Open Project Portal and view the transmittal as described in Viewing and editing a transmittal.
