About importing email from Outlook
The Project Portal Outlook Connector enables you to store email messages from MS Outlook to a specified Project Portal installation. A new normal Project Portal document will be created automatically for each message with the following features:
- The message subject is stored as the Project Portal document name. If the message does not have a subject, the document will be created with name Untitled document.
- The created document in Kronodoc will have a number of attachments by default, each of which has the subject of the email as the filename:
- If the original message had any attachments, they will be stored as additional files attached to the Project Portal document.
- If configured by a system administrator, the message properties Subject, Date, To, From, and CC are stored as custom properties of the Project Portal document.
