Drag and drop upload is useful to select multiple files at one time from your computer to upload.
Note Filename suffixes like [1], -1, and (1) do not make a filename unique if the rest of the filename matches a file that is already attached to a document. The underscore character (_) will also match a space in an existing filename. In such cases, give the file a more unique name before you upload it.
To add files with drag and drop upload:
Build a queue of the files that you want to upload. Drag files from their location on your computer and drop them into the drag and drop area. A new line appears in the upload queue for each file added.
Refine the queue and set options:
Note When you click Upload, all of the files will begin to upload simultaneously. There is no limit to the number of files that you can upload at one time but the more files that are uploaded, the longer the total upload will take. If you must upload many files, we recommend that you upload them in manageable batches instead of all at once.
Transmit the files:
Note The Save to new version button is not displayed if:
The upper progress bars show the file transfer progress of each file in the upload queue. The lower progress bar shows the overall progress of transferring all files in the upload queue. When the upload has completed, the parent document's property page appears.
Note File uploads will time out after a configurable length of time. If you need to upload large files over a slow connection without causing timeouts, consult your system administrator.
