About submittals

A submittal is a package of documents and metadata that you submit in response to a transmittal. All submittals must have an associated transmittal that was created first. The metadata file can reflect the property value changes that have been made to the documents. When returned to the transmittal sender, they can either approve or reject the submittal. An approved submittal can be used to update Project Portal.
