Project Portal installation procedure
The Project Portal installation procedure is described below.
- Verify compatibility of existing software and Project Portal. For the supported versions of the OS, databases and other 3rd party software please refer to the document Project Portal 2015 Supported Software.
- Acquire server hardware. For server hardware purchases please consult BlueCielo ECM Solutions.
- Purchase server TLS/SSL certificate (required for https).
- Install Red Hat Enterprise Linux server based on recommendations described in the Hardware recommendations and Operating system setup.
- Setup network related parameters as described in Network setup.
- Install database server based on recommendations described in Oracle database server setup.
- Send information described in Testing server setup, Verifying Oracle setup and Installation checklist to BlueCielo ECM Solutions prior to Project Portal installation.
- BlueCielo ECM Solutions installs Project Portal on the server. Installation is typically done over a SSH connection.
- Run post-installation tasks such as make Project Portal service start automatically after server operating system reboot.
