The recommended Project Portal server name is projectportal.yourdomain.com, but this is not critical in any way. If Project Portal is installed without KronoMail (incoming email to Project Portal), a single A-record with a corresponding reverse PTR is sufficient.

The Project Portal server must be able to make DNS lookup queries.
