Adding and removing custom document properties
You can add custom properties to a document type to store additional information about documents. The properties will appear on the document's property page in the detail view. The custom properties must exist before you can add them. For more information about custom properties, see About custom properties.
Tip Once you have opened a document type's custom properties page, you can add and remove custom properties for other document types without returning to the document types list page. Simply select an existing document type from the list on the property page, if necessary, and click the appropriate button.
Note The Default custom properties list on the a document type's custom properties page lists the custom document properties that have been added by default for all documents in the workspace.
