Pasting links from the Clipboard

Pasting links from the Clipboard links the Clipboard items (documents or folders) to the selected item.

To paste links from the Clipboard in a document list:

1. In the navigation pane, select the folder to which you want to link the Clipboard contents.
2. In the Documents view, in the ribbon, in the Clipboard group, click Paste Link. The document list refreshes to show the linked items.

To paste links from the Clipboard in a folder property page:

1. Open the folder's property page as described in Viewing and editing folder properties.

2. In the ribbon, in the Clipboard group, click Paste Link. The navigation pane and property page refresh to show the linked items. The document list refreshes to show the linked items.
