Starting a workflow

To start a SharePoint workflow:

  1. In the document list, right-click the document for which you want to start a workflow and click Workflows  on the shortcut menu. The Start Workflow dialog box appears.
  2. Select the workflow that you want to start from the list and click OK. The SharePoint workflow's Start page appears in a new window.
  3. Select or type options on the page and click Start.
